python3-geis software package provides python bindings for libgeis, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python3-geis
python3-geis is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python3-geis package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python3-geis *
You will get with python3-geis package name, version, architecture and description in a table
